MedRecruit was started in 2006 after Dr Sam Hazledine observed the disconcerting number of fellow doctors leaving the profession because of burn out and disillusionment. Many of these doctors were turning to recruitment agencies to help them find jobs for doctors and work they loved, but unfortunately the agencies were caught up in a race against each other to fill jobs rather than to serve doctors.
Sam realised that to best serve doctors in their careers he needed to build a new type of agency that offered doctors three things:

To this day Sam is still as passionate about enabling doctors to live exceptional lives. With over 70 staff and offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast and Queenstown, MedRecruit is still growing and every member of the team is passionate about serving our profession and finding the right jobs for doctors. Along with MedRecruit, Sam has set up MedCapital to help doctors master their wealth and MedWorld to share the stories and advice of exceptional doctors to help doctors look after themselves and thrive in all they do.
